1. This Promotion (“Promotion”) is open to all residents of Republic of Ireland aged 18 or over.
2. Employees of the Promoter and its affiliate companies, their families and anyone deemed to be professionally involved with or connected to the Promotion are not permitted to enter the Promotion.
3. The Promotion is free to enter and no purchase necessary.
4. To enter the Promotion, participants must navigate to the following URL: https://guinness.com/en-ie/transfer-that-pint (the “Sign-Up Form”). You will then be asked to populate the following fields: first name, last name, date of birth, email, location of residence, and to answer the following questions: “Where do you usually enjoy your Guinness?”: At home; At the pub or Both” (non-mandatory) and “Do you have a Guinness Nitrosurge at home?”: Yes!; No, but I would love to try it!; No, not interested thank you; What is that?” (non-mandatory), and what type of interest do you have: Rugby, Football, Music, live events, History or art.
5. You are entering for a chance to win a prize of 1 of 50 Waterford x Guinness Lismore Pint Glasses (the “Waterford Guinness Glass”) during the promotional period Thurs 30th January 2025 at 12pm to Mon 3rd February 2025 at 11pm GMT (inclusive) (the “Promotional Period”). Entries received outside of the Promotional Period will be void and will not be entered into the Promotion. Winners of the Waterford Guinness Glass will be chosen by random draw mechanic from all entries correctly submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions on 10th February 2025 and notified by email on or before 17th February 2025.
6. The first 1,000 entrants to correctly complete the Sign-Up Form as per Paragraph 4 (the “Initial 1,000 Entrants”), will automatically receive a coupon code for a standard Guinness Gravity Glass (the “Guinness Gravity Glass)”). This coupon can be redeemed at the link provided in the confirmation email and is valid until 31st of July 2025 (inclusive). The Initial 1,000 Entrants, along with all valid entrants thereafter will be in with a chance of winning a prize allocated by random draw mechanic as per Paragraph 5.
7. One entry only per email address, will be accepted into the Promotion during the Promotional Period.
8. The coupon code and/or the prize (either the Waterford Guinness Glass or the Guinness Gravity Glass, as applicable) is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute either prize with a prize of equal or greater value. Please allow 28 days from notification for the delivery of any applicable prize.
9. Additional prizes may be distributed by the Promotor on Instagram, up to a total number of 10 glasses. Winners will be chosen according to the following criteria:
Qualifying entries must:
(i) be submitted during the Promotional Period outlined in Paragraph 5;
(ii) feature the campaign hashtag #TransferThatPint and/or tag @Guinness_Ireland;
(iii) feature a picture of Guinness Nitrosurge served in an unofficial Guinness glass;
(iv) participants and entries must be in compliance with Diageo’s Marketing Code (which can be found at https://www.diageo.com/en/esg/responsible-drinking/marketing-code);
winning entries will be determined by volume of engagement on the Instagram post (likes and comments).
9. The Promoter will use your personal information only in accordance with these terms and conditions and our privacy policy which can be found at https://footer.diageohorizon.com/dfs/assets/www.diageo.com/PrivacyPolicy_en.html?locale=en-gb. The Promoter will only use your personal information for the purpose of carrying out the Promotion. Where the Promoter is not responsible for the fulfilment of or delivery of the prize, the Promoter shall share your personal information with Verve Marketing Ltd who is responsible for the fulfilment of and delivery of the prize.
10. Subject to paragraph 1- 3 and without prejudice to the Promoter's data protection obligations under relevant law, the Promoter shall make available, upon receipt of a written request (which includes a stamped addressed envelope for such a response) to GuinnessExclusives@verve.ie the winners’ surname and county, and (if applicable) the winning entry.
11. Entrants to the Promotion can, at any time (including at or before the time of entry), object to all or some of their personal information being made available in accordance with paragraph 10 by writing to GuinnessExclusives@verve.ie However, the Promoter shall provide the information set out in paragraph 10 upon request from such competent authorities (including the Advertising Standards Authority).
12. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for entries or claims that are delayed or not received due to transmission, network or software problems or any other reason beyond the Promoter’s control. The promoter accepts no responsibility for network, or hardware or software incompatibilities or errors or failures in entering the Promotion.
13. The winner may be asked to take part in publicity.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, amend or terminate (temporarily or permanently) these terms and conditions or the Promotion with or without prior notice where it becomes necessary to do so due to any unforeseen circumstances outside their reasonable control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud or in the event of technical or other difficulties that might compromise its integrity).
15. Entries that contain any offensive or inappropriate content will be deleted and disqualified at the Promoter's discretion.
16. No correspondence will be entered into concerning the result and the Promoter’s decision in all matters relating to the Promotion is final.
17. The Promoter and their agents accept no responsibility for entries that are not received for any reason or difficulties experienced in submitting an entry to this Promotion and proof of submission will not be accepted as proof of delivery.
18. The Promotion and the Promoter's Facebook & Instagram pages are not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook & Instagram. By entering into the Promotion, entrants release Facebook & Instagram from all and any claims and liabilities which might arise in relation to the Promotion. You understand that you are providing your in-formation to the Promoter and not to Facebook & Instagram. The information you provide will only be used for communications associated with this Promotion in accordance with paragraph 11 or for further communication if you have specifically opted into receive this.
19. While nothing in these terms and conditions will limit the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud, the Promoter will not be legally responsible to entrants or winners for any losses that were not foreseeable to the Promoter or to the entrant at the time of entry to the Promotion or which are caused by a third party.
20. This Promotion and these terms and conditions are governed by Irish law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.
21. Entrants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions by participating in this Promotion.
